How to prepare for IAS exam

Each year, millions of candidates participate in the UPSC Civil Services Exam. But hard work and preparation in the right direction ensure the success of this review only. It is also difficult to pass the IAS exam, but also to think smartly and have a smart strategy. Many candidates spend a lot of time preparing for this exam and still can not succeed. The main reason for this is that they only work hard, whereas, if we examine here the nature of this test, a special or "smart" job is necessary to succeed. It's smart work or just saying that strategic preparation is the mantra to get you into the list of winners with your failures.

Modify the resources of your study.
This is a very important part of the preparation and combination of study material, in which you do not have to study new study material or new books during the last phase of your preparation. Because it's not fair to understand and study new themes in such a short time. You may be confused and frustrated by the burden of such additional studies, so always study honestly and carefully with quality and selected books. The change at the end of your preparation is the most important step. For example, if you think you have not read it before or if you have incomplete information about this tip, it indicates no change. Remember that only regular changes will help you build concepts

What is your priority?
Your activities and their priorities in exam preparation play an important role in the success of this exam. First of all, you need to make sure that you get a minimum of 33% in the CSAT. To do this, you solve the practice simulation test series, and if you feel that your basic understanding of these subjects has not yet been developed, study them specifically. Remember that if you fail to get 33% in CASAT (General Question GS II), your first written question GS (General Studies) will not be evaluated. The important areas of UPSC must also be a priority. Review IAS documents in previous years and explore important and non-important areas.

The role of practice and tests.
If you need to effectively prepare the IAS you should study according to a regular and well-organized strategy. Before taking the exam, make sure you have successfully reviewed all topics. If not, give more time first to study the areas / subjects in which you are weak. As we suggested above, false series of tests, etc. will be useful in this process of study. By giving these types of tests, you will be able to understand your weaknesses and your powers. As we all know, time is a very important part of the real test and, at this predetermined time, we have to answer the questionnaire questions correctly. By taking your practice test series / simulated test, you can learn to regulate / regulate the time taken for each question

Importance of newspapers
There is a lot of confusion among the candidates as to the readiness of newspapers and the news. Such as "I should read the newspaper or not, if so, what and how", "What is the current business and how to prepare it?" Etc. Frankly, you should not stop reading them. The reason is that the news is a continuous and important source of recent information. Apart from this, reading the newspaper will give you a variety of tips that will help you improve your reading-reading language. For example, when preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Review, you can also reduce the time available for regular reading of daily newspapers.
